Wrap Up: What GCs need to know in 2021

The GC Forum had a great start to 2021 with a very informative session with Blakes on the things that GCs need to know for 2021.

Highlights included a discussion of how to prepare for upcoming changes to Canadian Privacy legislation, how to address the myriad of employment law issues relating to COVID-19, the growing importance of ESG issues for corporate boards and trends in litigation in light of the pandemic (and in case you missed it, a really important SCC case – Callow).

Thanks to the more than 60 law department leaders that attended (and those that were able to drop in for the virtual cocktail/networking session) – always nice to see familiar and new faces!
